What we collect
The only personal information Manley Farms receives is the email address you submit through the optional signup form on the homepage, dashboard, or blog. Submitting an email is voluntary, and the form makes clear what you are signing up for.
We do not collect names, IP addresses, location data, browsing history, or any other personal details through the site.
What we do not collect
- No analytics cookies, no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no third-party trackers.
- No advertising IDs, no behavioral profiling, no retargeting.
- No sale or sharing of personal data with marketers.
- No location tracking. Tools that use a location (Spray Window, Streamflow Watch, Almanac, etc.) request a ZIP code or coordinates from you and process it in your browser. We do not log it.
How the tools handle data
Every tool on this site runs in your browser. Inputs you provide - field boundaries, ZIP codes, calculator values - are processed locally on your device. Where a tool needs to fetch live public data (weather forecasts, USGS streamflow, USDA prices), it requests that data directly from the public agency on your behalf.
Some tools save your last-used inputs to your browser's local storage so you do not have to re-enter them. That data stays on your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Email signups
If you submit an email address, it is sent to a private database run by Manley Farms. We use it only to send the kind of update the form described - typically a short note when a new tool launches. We do not share or sell email addresses. You can ask to be removed at any time by emailing the address below.
Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by SiteGround. Like most web servers, the host writes basic technical access logs (request timestamps, status codes, user agent strings) for security and debugging. These logs are retained for a short period by the host and are not used by Manley Farms for analytics, marketing, or profiling.
Third-party content
A few pages embed a Buy Me a Coffee tip button. If you click it, you go to Buy Me a Coffee's site and their privacy policy applies. The button itself loads from their CDN; we do not pass any of your information to it.
Mapping in some tools uses tile imagery from public providers. Loading a map causes your browser to request tile images from the provider. This is normal map behavior and does not send anything personal.
Children
Manley Farms is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how data is handled, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date. The site does not have user accounts to notify, so it is worth a look any time you wonder.
